A return to the Exchequer of money collected in Norfolk under one of the forced loans which were raised to pay for the war against Spain and the defeat of the Spanish Armada. Includes 24 names on the list, each paying £25.

The records described below appear to relate to Nathaniel BACON (1547? - 1622) of Stiffkey, Norfolk, the second son of Sir Nicholas Bacon (1509 - 1579), Lord Keeper. He was admitted to Gray's Inn 1562 December 15; M.P. for Tavistock 1571 and 1572, for Norfolk 1584 and 1593, for Lynn 1597; Sheriff of Norfolk 1599; Knighted 1604 July 21.
